There are two parts to a dental implant; there is the lower titanium root portion and the upper porcelain crown portion. The upper titanium root portion needs to be surgically implanted into the patient’s mouth. It is important that the jawbone is healthy enough for the procedure, and that the placements a done precisely in the appropriate place. In order to have this procedure formed, our dentist will ask that you undergo a dental/radiographic examination and health history. Our dentist, Dr. Shaffren, will work in conjunction with an Oral Surgeon or Periodontist to ensure the very best results for you. We want to make sure that your dental implants remain healthy so that they will work well for you for a lifetime.
For patients who want to improve their smiles, without paying a lot of money, we are very happy to provide in-office and take-home Zoom! teeth whitening. This whitening system is considered by many professionals, including our Little Neck dentist, to be the most effective tooth whitening and bleaching system available. For our in-house tooth whitening, you will need to sit in the dentist’s chair for only about one hour while the solution is applied to your teeth and allowed to work.
